Trips for Travelling in Bangkok & Place for Halal Food

Several tips for travelling in Bangkok especially if this is the first time for you to go to Bangkok by yourself and is not arranged by travel agent or tour group
1. Make sure you already have a complete map of Bangkok including the BTS and Subway line maps and also information about the interesting places in Bangkok and how to reach there.
2. When you choose the hotel or accomodation should be check either the hotel location is close to BTS/Subway station or not. If not you will spend more time and money for going to the station from your hotel and not easy to deal with tuk-tuk or taxi driver.
3. Make sure you have the complete address of your hotel or accomodation place including in Thai Language, it will be easier for you if you ask some one about the place.
4. Buy the ticket of BTS for 1 day or 3 days trip it will be really saving your money.
5. If you want to visit the temples, you start from morning because the temples are mostly closed at 04.00 - 05.00 PM.
6. When you start your trip for visiting temple, you can start from Hua Lam Phong subway station and explore the chinatown area first and go the side of the river or... Starting from Saphan Thaksin BTS station and go down to the Central Pier and using the public boat you can stop in many temples such as Wat Phra Kew, Wat Po, Wat Arun. I suggest you to choose the last option trough Central Pier because will be cheaper and you can enjoy the Chao Praya River.
7. Dont forget wearing a proper clothes if you want to go to the temple, especially to the Wat Phraw Kew and the King Palace (one location) dont wear just t-shirt and short and slippers!!!
8. Never believe to people who said "This temple is temporary closed" and offering you another temple which is opened once a year and said, "Now is your lucky time because you can visit it and not all people have chances like you!" and they will help you to find a cheap tuk-tuk and finally in that temple some one already waits there and will say hello to you and acts as a Succesfull Thai man who work abroad and go home for holiday and persuade you to go somewhere to buy gems or others.
Why I told you about this because these were my own experiences and even I go to Bangkok many times, I still got this experience until twice.......and the third time when I went to the Wat Phraw Kew, some one told me that the temple was closed this morning and opened only for Royal families were praying during the Budhist day and I didnt care and what???? The temple was opened for public!!! yes...yes....they could not lie me again!!!
9. Please be polite in the temple area, dont be so noisy and put off your cap, your sun glasses and shoes when you enter to the main temple.
10. Dont miss so many delicious foods in the street but if you stomach can be compromised.
11. If you go around please dont forget bring the hotel name card in Thai language so if you are lost it will be easier for you to head back to your hotel
12. If you have no time for buying souvenir, you can go to MBK (Mah Bong Krong) shopping mall and find many Thai souvenir in 5 th floor or 7 floor just ask to the people there because the price is affordable.
13. Chatuchak Market only open during weekend so dont miss it!!! And there is so hot so consider your clothes if you want to go there.
14. Thai Boxing Show and The Joe Louis Puppet Show are interesting things to see but make sure about the time schedule.
